If he can raise the money, anti-abortion wingnut and Democratic "presidential candidate" Randall Terry hopes to run gruesome Super Bowl ads in 40 cities, featuring bloody aborted fetuses curled around religious icons, by exploiting an FCC loophole on ads by political candidates. And keep in mind: Lawmakers across the country passed a record number of reproductive health measures in 2011, a new report from the Guttmacher Institute finds, enacting 135 measures in 36 states, way up from the 89 enacted in 2010. Sixty-eight percent of the laws — 92 in 24 states — restrict access to abortion services.
