Blame the Victim - And the Victim's Clueless Friend

After, thankfully, howls of protest, the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Commission has pulled their new ads suggesting that if you drink too much, someone might rape your friend and it'll be your fault, a bizarre new twist on the notion that women (and, evidently, their friends) are responsible for preventing rape, not, uh, the guys who do it. If the liquor control guys want to protect women from drunken rapists, maybe they shouldn't be offering, for a modest fee, booze delivered right to your (already drunk, wholly unmonitored and possibly sexually assaultive) door?
