A federal judge has approved a $410 million settlement in a class-action lawsuit affecting millions of Bank of America customers - including my son, way too often - who paid outrageous amounts in $35 debit card overdraft fees. The compromise deal was criticized by some customers, who will only get a fraction of what they paid, but it's a start.
