Freedom Waves: I Write to You From Cell 9 of the Apartheid State of Israel
Despite Israeli claims that their (illegal) takeover of the Freedom Waves Gaza flotilla was benign, reports surfacing from activists tell a harsher story - from guns pointed and windows smashed to activists tasered , bruised, shackled and held without due process. In response, Anonymous evidently made good on its threat to shut down Israeli sites. "We do not tolerate this kind of repeated offensive behavior against unarmed civilians... Such acts by you and your military are acts of war against another sovereign nation."

Olympia Is Not Oakland

The camp has also become a safe harbor for the homeless, with supportive city council members urging that all be "treated gently."
