Even as they were prepping for a general strike, Occupy Oakland called for occupying abandoned and foreclosed properties there, part of a growing national movement to reclaim what has been lost to the greed of banks. Actions in Seattle, Springfield, Mass. - their organization has the great name, No One Leaves - and Brooklyn, N.Y., where protesters came to foreclosure court to sing, beautifully harmonizing, "Mrs. Auctioneer, all the people here, we're asking you to hold all the sales right now."
