After insisting that his insane suggestion to electrify the border fence was "a joke," Herman 'I Am A Joke' Cain now says he is "not walking away" from the idea, whose brilliance matches his famously nonsensical 9-9-9 scheme. Cain's idiocy, part of the increasingly hateful rhetoric spewing from the right these days, was too much for some Hispanic conservatives - yeah, there are some - who called it "beyond reprehensible." Maybe Cain should check out the sharp rise in anti-Latino hate crimes hate crimes. Naah, it won't make any difference. Besides, he's too busy raising campaign money to give to his own for-profit company to sell his books.
