Sigh. City officials have cited Adam Guerrero, a high school math teacher in Memphis, TN. and three of his students for growing a garden after it was deemed a "neighborhood nuisance" under two ordinances. The kids grow vegetables, learn to make soap and keep bees for honey. You can help try to save his garden; you're also welcome to visit, says Guerrero, "but please be kind and decent."

"I have a deep respect for nature and its wisdom in handling its own affairs. I see many great problems in our city and society. I have set aside the talk and demands for "someone" to act and have taken it upon myself to do what little I can." - Adam Guerrero
