Water As A Human Right, Even/Especially In Gaza
A great initiative in Gaza, where artists joined locals to create murals at the much-needed water treatment sites that Middle East Children's Alliance (MECA) has installed at almost 30 schools. Contraception: The Ungodly End to Our Civilization, and Not A Moment Too Soon

The right has responded with hysteria to a federal move to have health insurance cover contraception costs, ranting that birth control is an immoral leftist plot that is "messing with God" and will forge "a pagan society." We can't wait. See a lunatic Steve King sputter that preventative medicine makes us "a dying civilization."
