Talisman Terry's Energy Adventure In the Wondrous Land of Fracking

Abby Zimet

Hey kids! Want to meet Talisman Terry, the friendly Fracosaurus? He will teach you all about fracking for natural gas, "one of the cleanest, safest, and most useful of all energy sources" - at least according to Talisman, the Canadian oil and gas company looking to drill in New York and Pennsylvania. Their coloring book is aimed at getting kids in the area on their questionable side, though somewhat strangely it leaves out the part about radioactive and other pollutants contaminating groundwater. Still, Stephen Colbert thinks it's swell. Watch him follow Talisman Terry's life story to its logical, riotous conclusion.

Update: Whoah. After much criticism and ridicule, Terry has been made extinct.
