Apple: Dispossession and Propaganda OK, Intifada Not

After Israeli complaints, Apple earlier this week pulled an iPhone app by Palestinian activists calling for a Third Intifada - much like an ill-fated Facebook page that had drawn hundreds of thousands of supporters -  claiming it violated guidelines by "being offensive to large groups of people." Odd, then, that Apple has no problem with an app that offers "up-to-date information directly from Israel's Ministry of Foreign Affairs," with news on “Palestinian incitement" and the Israeli "humanitarian lifeline to Gaza.” Wow.
