Thousands of union members and other activists protested in Chicago this week to end corporate greed, welfare and bailouts as the CEOS of giants like IBM and McDonalds met to learn "leadership skills." Over 20 arrests as hurting people asked, entirely reasonably, for jobs and "a fair chance."
"They are getting very very rich," said Maria Ratanski, a janitor who belongs to the SEIU, about the CEOs. "They say when they get rich, we get jobs, but they are not making any jobs. They get richer and richer, we get poorer and poorer."
