Kushner Redux


There are still ripples from the ill-advised CUNY effort to deny an honorary degree to playwright Tony Kushner for his entirely reasonable criticisms of Israel. The award has been again offered; he has accepted and will speak at commencement; faculty are pushing for the resignation of Jeffrey Wiesenfeld, the trustee who thinks criticism equals betrayal; more here and here.
