Motherhood: Where Our Bountiful Resources Can Go Now, Right?

Measuring infant mortality, women's health and other issues, Save the Children's annual survey of 164 countries finds that the best place in the world to be a mother is Norway. The worst is Afghanistan. The U.S. ranks near the bottom among developed countries. Madre has great ideas for helping women; clearly, ending our insane wars is a good place to start.
