The funeral in Gaza

Up to ten thousand people gathered for the funeral in his native Italy of Vittorio Arrigoni, the Palestinian activist murdered in Gaza. Mourners of many colors and religions celebrated the life of a defender of human rights who had "no boundaries, no flags and no barriers."

"Vittorio was, is and will continue to be a gift and lesson to our imperfect race. The assassins were proven to have lost. Vittorio lives on. Right in front of our very eyes, ten thousand Vittorio Arrigonis were born."
