Halliburton Rakes It In While Asking, What Oil Spill?

Good news, planet plunderers and blood profiteers: Despite its part in the Gulf oil debacle, Halliburton reported record first quarter earnings of $5.3 billion,   profits that nearly doubled, and a higher-than-usual share of Gulf oil contracts. Company officials attribute their "robust outlook" to record domestic production under Obama. Oh yeah, and Halliburton still gets billions in taxpayer subsidies. Nothing will change here until we have political leaders who make it change; we wonder when that will be.
