The latest battleground for schools- already fighting over money, teachers, niceties like art and music - is chocolate millk. Nutritionists want to ban it, scientists are tinkering on it, kids say it's "really awesome!" and corn refiners and the National Dairy Council have launched campaigns to tout its vital "nutrients of concern." I dunno. It seems a minor vice, and at this point I'm grateful we have schools at all; let them take out the corn syrup, and go for it.
