Donut Diplomacy, Sort Of

Dozens of Muslim activists gathered outside the US embassy in Bahrain to urge Washington to support political reform. In response, a US embassy official brought out a box of doughnuts for them. A half-empty box. So much for U.S. diplomatic efforts.
