The Supreme Court ruled today 8-1 that the First Amendment protects the right of Westboro Baptist Church wackos to dispense their homophobic vitriol outside military funerals or anywhere else - ironically, with Justice Alito the sole dissenter questioning why "actionable speech should be immunized."
