This weekend saw the premiere at Sundance of Kevin Smith's "Red State," a comedy/drama/horror take-off featuring well-armed Christian fundamentalists who look a lot like the hateful wingnut Westboro clan. The Westboro clan turned up to protest the film, charging it "mocks the servants of God." But counter-protesters also showed up – way more of them, with way funnier signs. A fine time was had by all.
