Giving Out Cancer Freebies


A Boston jury has found tobacco company Lorillard Inc. - which makes Kent, True,
Old Gold and others - liable for the lung cancer death of a smoker in a
landmark suit alleging the company targeted her and other black children in the
1960s with an ad campaign featuring free cigarettes. The family of Marie Evans will get $71 million.
