Republicans and Tea Partiers in Missouri, the "puppy mill capital" of the U.S., are trying to repeal Proposition B, a new commie bill that requires dog-breeders to give their charges food, water and basic care just like that Marxist outrage , health care. State data shows that up to 100 dead dogs a month are dumped in open sites. Operation Payback
With Julian Assange jailed in the UK, supporters are fighting to keep Wikileaks alive. Internet activists called Operation Payback have reportedly shut down the websites of both PayPal and PostFinance, which cut off Wikileaks funding. A report has surfaced that one of Assange's accusers in Sweden has connections to the CIA. Noam Chomsky has signed onto a letter of support for Assange, and over 500 Wikileaks mirror sites have been set up. Video in More .

Tax Cuts: The Line In the Sand Just Got Erased
Obama's "deal" with Republicans, in which he agreed to extend Bush tax-cuts to the rich he has long blasted, is dispiriting. Others note that "compromise" has morphed into capitulation , much good could be done with that $60 billion, and Obama's cave on an issue that set him apart from his predecessor now makes them indistinguishable, which is some depressing. "You've got to stand where you live. There's got to be some core value. Over the last two months, the president over 50 times has said, 'We can't give these tax cuts to the millionaires and billionaires, that's the line in the sand' - and it just got erased."
