We Are the World, Or A Planet Made of Beef

Dubbing it "a terrible version of an
already not-great song," a bunch of funny people has morphed into the Comedy Death-Ray Xmas Nativity Choir to present a new "We Are The World" to mark the original's 25.75th anniversary and raise money for the L.A. food bank. Performers include Sarah Silverman, 'Weird Al' Yankovic, a dog, a kid and alot of other people. The video is part of Christmas events that include an upcoming volunteer day, release of a CD and an annual Christmas pageant, with all proceeds going to help the over 1.6 million LA County residents – a jump of 62% over two years – struggling with hunger. For every $1 donation, the Food Bank can provide $5 worth of food, or enough for four meals. Dig deep, and listen up. The highlight: the hip-hop finale.

"Laughter is the best medicine, but food is
the best food."
