Right-Wingers Gone Wild
Oklahoma's new "Save Our State" amendment declaring that courts cannot consider international or Islamic law - dubbed by one expert "an answer in search of a problem" - has in fact run into problems . Last week, the head of a Muslim group filed a lawsuit against it. Today, a federal judge issued a restraining order against it. Now it turns out the law may unwittingly ban courts from referencing the 10 Commandments, at the heart of much of U.S law and way popular in Oklahoma.
