Insisting that "breaking our addiction to oil
is a matter of American security," VoteVets.org has launched
a national ad campaign to fight the almost $30 million in ads being run
by the American Petroleum Institute this year alone. The first ad by
VoteVets.org - which describes itself as a "pro-military" organization
of Iraq and
Afghanistan veterans - features Dante Zappala, whose brother Sgt.
Sherwood Baker was
killed in Iraq.
