One word and ten grains of rice at a time, the U.N. World Food
Program's Freerice.comdonates
food to over 50,000 hungry people a day via an online word game: define
a word correctly, and they donate rice. Now they're expanding
their reach via Twitter and Facebook. A click of a mouse, and the
hungry get fed. Is it miraculous, or dismaying, it can be done so
simply?
