A Time To Be Silent and A Time To Speak

The wackos at Dove World Outreach Center - gawd, we love that name -
may have gone too far, even for them. Thankfully, the Gainesville Fla.
"church" plan to hold a Burn A Quran Day has met with opposition on all
fronts. A newly formed Gainesville Interfaith Forum plans a counter-event,
hosted by Trinity United Methodist Church, at which over
20 congregations will hold an interfaith
service to protest what it calls "a terrible wrong." And even Right Wing
Extreme, a group of armed "Christian" wingnuts that had vowed to
protect said book-burners, has "after much thought and prayer" withdrawn
its support, arguing the event "does not glorify God," and contributes
to "inciting violence and racism," two deadpan conclusions tough to
argue with.

"Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be
swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath." - James 1:19, as quoted
