Despite All, Gaza's Children Take to the Skies

Hope - life - springs eternal. Gaza's children are hungry, traumatized, unschooled, victimized daily by the hardships of an Israeli siege they have done nothing to deserve. Still, over 7,000 kids gathered at a UN summer camp to break two world records - bouncing basketballs and flying kites - just like kids anywhere. Uplifting, heartbreaking.

"We still want to live and we still want to be joyful." - Amsiyat Awaja, 13, whose house was destroyed and her brother killed.
