With a documentary film due out Aug. 20 on the friendly fire death in Afghanistan of Pat Tillman - and the ensuing cover-up - two letters

Army. They paint a picture of a grossly dishonest, mismanaged
investigation; a senseless death, either murder or mishap; and a father, alternately grieving, enraged and resolved to uncover the painful truth.
"You are a General," he wrote to the head of the investigation after reading the findings. "There is no way a man
like you...believes the conclusions reached... But your signature is on it. I assume, therefore, that you are part of
this shameless bullshit."
