We knew it was bad, but the Washington Post, yet, says it's even worse: three out of four lobbyists for gas and oil companies used to work for the feds - ie: the people allegedly regulating them. And there are 600
of 'em. Even after the BP debacle, no wonder efforts have stalled to
curb the actions of those companies. Today's Congressional hearings into
lobbying influence might just possibly consider the clout of these
guys....? Or maybe not.
