Swedish Workers on Gaza: "This Is What We Can Do"

Abby Zimet

About 1,500 Swedish dockworkers have begun a week-long boycott of Israeli ships and cargo to
protest the Gaza flotilla attack and focus world attention on the

Dockworkers Union took similar actions to protest Chile's Pinochet
regime and South Africa's apartheid.

"This is our contribution, this is what we can do." - Erik
Helgeson, ombudsman at
the Swedish Dockworkers Union.
