Gay Pride Meets Gaza

Gay Pride marchers in Tel Aviv

Organizers of a gay pride march in Madrid have banned

a delegation of gay Israelis because of the attack on the
Gaza flotilla. The Israelis say the decision makes no sense in light of
Islamic fundamentalist hostility toward homosexuals.

"After what has
happened, and as human rights campaigners, it seemed barbaric to us to
have them taking part," said Antonio Poveda of Spain's Federation of
Lesbians, Gays,
Transexuals and Bisexuals. "We don't just defend our own little patch."
