As their own commentators continue to slam the disastrous attack on the Gaza aid
flotilla – including one former Mossad agent who called
it "so stupid it is
stupefying” – Israel has deported to Jordon over 100 activists, most
from Arab countries. The rest of the 682 passengers seized will be
deported soon. Israel is continuing to hold four Palestinian Arab citizens of Israel without indictment;
their lawyers argued at a hearing that they are being
discriminated against. The Rachel Corrie is still heading toward Gaza,
and activists say they have funding for another, larger Gaza flotilla to
set sail in the coming weeks.
