The Priests' Women Speak: Love Is Freedom, Always

Stefania Salomone, who started a website for women in relationships
with priests: "There is never a happy ending."

With child abuse scandals rocking the Catholic Church, a
group of almost 40 Italian women who have had intimate relationships
with priests have written an open letter to Pope Benedict denouncing celibacy as a "tattered shroud" and man-made
law that "is not
sacred in the least" and has nothing to do with the Scriptures. Their

his fellow beings, to have feelings, to love and be loved and to face
