So okay. Oklahoma does a swell job inspiring fine ole corn-fed
musicals, but they can't get their bigotry right. It seems their
state Senate felt so strongly they shouldn't have to protect gays and
lesbians from hate crimes that they tried to write sexual orientation
out of the newly passed Shephard Act, but somebody goofed and exempted
protections against race and religion instead. They
killed Section 245. The weirdos are in section 249.

"We know we belong to the land/ And the land we belong to is
grand!/ And when we say/ Yeeow! aye-yip-aye-yo-ee-ay!/ We're only
saying/ You're doing fine, Oklahoma, Oklahoma, ok!" - sung with verve
