A scary new report from the Southern Poverty Law Center finds the number of right-wing extremist
groups at record levels - almost 1,000 - and so-called Patriot groups
up 244% in the last year, from 149 to 512. Immigrants, blacks, gays,
Obama commies, anyone who wants health reform - you name 'em, they hate
'em.

a veteran analyst of the American radical right, wrote earlier this
