Doctors Without Borders, working tirelessly in Haiti, says one of its
cargo planes loaded with a critically needed inflatable surgical
hospital and other supplies was blocked
from landing at Port-au-Prince and rerouted to the Dominican Republic -
yet another tragedy in a city with only two fully functional medical
theaters and many thousands in need of treatment. Haiti air space is
now said to be under U.S. control: Is this really the best we can do?
