Oops. Texas conservatives were so all fired-up about making sure
none of those homosexual weirdos could get married that they may have
passed a law banning marriage altogether, says Democratic candidate for
attorney general Barbara Ann Radnofsky. A well-respected attorney,
Radnofsky says a 2005 constitutional
amendment to ban gay marriage included a "massive mistake" - ambiguous wording in one section that could void all marriages.

"This state
or a political subdivision of this state may not create or recognize
any legal status identical or similar to marriage."
