Justice Delayed

It's a telling sign of the distance Obama has strayed from his
zealous promises of transparency that the New York Times, not exactly a
bastion of revolutionary zeal, is now chiding
him for his ongoing coverup of prisoner abuse. They call for "a public
clamor" for full disclosure and prosecution of those responsible; the
tireless ACLU is still working on it.

"(We need to) demonstrate that this nation has turned the
page on Mr. Bush's shameful policies. Withholding the painful truth
shows the opposite."

This is the world we live in. This is the world we cover.
