Gun Show Undercover: Scary, Heavily-Armed, Questionable People

Abby Zimet

In a months-long sting operation at seven gun shows in three states,
undercover investigators found that gun dealers were happy to sell
their wares three out of four times to illegal and otherwise iffy people who wanted them. Among the findings of Gun Show
Undercover, undertaken by the city of New York to trace guns used in
crimes in the city: 63% of gun dealers sold guns to a "buyer" who said
he wouldn't pass a background check, and 94% sold them to a "straw"
purchaser, a second party, which is a felony. There's even video of the
sales. More here.
