Today the federal minimum wage goes up from $6.55 to $7.25, a whopping 70-cent increase that God knows the over four million low-wage workers can use. Still, real wages have failed dismally to keep up with inflation, or the obscene and growing disparity between rich and poor. To see the gap, check out the top 100 CEO salaries here.
