Having gotten over $150 billion in bailout money, insurance giant AIG is now trying to take back
millions they made the mistake of giving for health care for homeless
children, meals for the elderly, youth baseball and other questionable
causes. They are going to court to seize a $490 million charitable
endowment, including $27 million already given out, so they can pay
their executives obscene salaries and bonuses that dwarf what the
homeless kids got but may now lose.
