U.N: Israeli Military Negligent and Reckless in Gaza

A United Nations report today accused Israel of "negligence or recklessness" in its conduct of the war in Gaza and said the organization should press for reparations in seven incidents of U.N.-related deaths and damages. In the most serious incident, 30 to 40 Palestininan civilians were killed while taking shelter from the fighting at a U.N. boys' school.

The report said Israel was responsible for the ill-fated attack and that its civilian deaths should be "assessed in accordance with...international humanitarian law."
