With Arlen Specter changing parties and only 21 percent of Americans identifying themselves as Republicans, it's good to see the party of the opposition grappling with their declining numbers in a serious, analytical way. In yet another say-what? moment, South Carolina Sen. Jim DeMint claims GOP losses in the northeast are due to "forced unionization," not right-wing lunacy.

"The problem I think we have is
Americans no longer believe that we believe what we say we do," he said.
