Speaking at a Latin American and Arab summit before going to Iran, Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez blasted ongoing "terrorism by the U.S. empire" and said his country would be happy to accept former detainees from Guantanamo.

"We
wouldn't have any problem in taking in human beings," Chavez said.
