In the wake of last weekend's Powershift conference on climate change, it's instructive to read the New Yorker profile of Van Jones, innovative founder and president of Green For All. Jones was one of the first people to come up with the eminently sensible idea of solving two huge problems – urban poverty and global warming – with one brilliant solution: a green economy.
