Operation American Spring Will Draw Millions To Save Our Nation and Restore Our Constitution and A Duck Cannot Be Turned Into A Fox So No Looking Back
You're all prolly way busy packing your flags and tea bags for the big shindig but for those who don't know: Organizers expect up to 30 million (or at least 47) patriots to flood D.C. Friday for OPERATION AMERICAN SPRING, the "Beginning Of Tyranny Housecleaning" when all criminal elitist members of the incumbent government led by that Kenyan usurper will be removed as a start toward constitutional restoration and replaced with "those with the principles of a West, Cruz, DeMint" etc who will kill taxes and save our nation so "go full-bore, no looking back, steadfast in the mission." A sister event is planned at Cliven Bundy's ranch 'cause at this point why not. "An elephant cannot be turned into a flea; the laws of nature will not permit...We can become a nation guided by royalty IF "we the people" beguiled by the government in surrender to our lusts for that which we have not earned (and) with itching ears be turned from the Truth...The U.S.A. (elephant)...is teetering on the abyss of becoming a sniveling, blood sucking, undesirable nation (flea)."

What the Frack: N.D. Oil Well Ron Burgundy Is Leaking, But They Don't Have To Tell Us How Much
Days after a report of “substantial gaps in oversight” at thousands of high-risk fracking wells, emergency officials announced a leak at Tioga, N.D.'s Ron Burgundy 3-23-14H fracking well, which is under a confidentiality agreement that protects its owners from having to tell the public what the hell is going on there. Alarmingly, 22% of North Dakota's 1,813 oil and gas wells have such “tight hole” status, probably because the state awards it to any operators who ask. What's most scary here: That they're giving cute names to deadly wells, they don't have to tell us what goes on there, or they've called in a Halliburton company named Boots and Coots to clean it up? Tough call.

Grotesque Overkill: 23 Cops, 377 Rounds, Two Suspects, Zero Guns
A months-long investigation into "perhaps the largest case of contagious fire on record" has found that frenzied Miami police last December fired 377 rounds at a crashed car - hitting several officers and sending neighbors diving to the floor - that killed a robbery suspect and his innocent friend who were both unarmed and trying to surrender. Adrian Montesano, with one prior minor arrest and an apparent drug problem, had allegedly robbed a Walgreens and shot an officer (who later recovered) before taking off in his grandmother's car. Both men survived a first barrage by police and were putting up their hands when hit by a second, more furious one. Neighbors described cops "shooting just wild...they weren’t thinking at all.” They were, however, laughing. “The policemen that had on the black and white vests were out there laughing like it was so funny...because they got a free shot off them people."

Looking the Monster In the Eye: On Hebrew Neo-Nazis
Anger is at long last rising against the new form of extremist Zionism dubbed "price tag attacks," wherein Israeli settlers vandalize Muslim and Christian sites to threaten them with "paying the price" for opposing Jewish settlements. The Pope is among critics calling such hate crimes acts of "terror," and renowned Israeli writer Amos Oz has just blasted terms like "price tag" and "hilltop youth" as "sweet names for a monster that needs to be called what it is - Hebrew neo-Nazis." "We wanted to be like all other peoples. We had hoped that the day would arrive in which there would be a Hebrew thief and a Hebrew whore. We also have Hebrew neo-Nazi groups."

NFL, Meet the Modern World
Michael Sam made admittedly belated history Saturday when the St. Louis Rams picked him in the 2014 NFL draft, thus making him the first openly gay player to be drafted into the league. The Missouri defensive end was the 249th choice in the seventh round - late given his creds, some argue - suggesting the NFL still has a long way to go on their stance that a gay player poses "distractions" to a proudly sexist, racist, homophobic and otherwise brutal sport that in fact could use some.

Cruel Joke: What Will Your Mother's Day Flowers Cost?
This Mother's Day, Americans will buy over $2 billion worth of cut flowers for their doubtless worthy mothers. Alas, other worthy mothers - many in Colombia's Bogotá Savanna - will have often produced them, enduring injuries, pesticides, birth defects and obscenely low wages for your pleasure. Also their kids sometimes. Maybe get her a (locally grown) perennial instead?

Jurors' Remorse
A bizarre twist in the legal and moral clusterf#ck that is the Cecily McMillan case: Nine of 12 jurors who inexplicably found her guilty of assaulting the cop who sexually assaulted her - none of whom knew the conviction carried a prison sentence - have written the judge seeking leniency for the Occupy activist, arguing "it serves no purpose to Cecily or to society to incarcerate her."

Sweet (Black) Miss Sully, 93, Shot to Death By Idiot (White) Cop, 28
Hearne, Texas police officer (sic) Steven Stem fired at least five shots that killed 93-year-old Pearlie 'Miss Sully' Golden after she came out to her yard waving a gun - aka "brandishing a firearm" - evidently because she was some pissed her nephew wanted to take away her car keys after she failed a driving test. Her neighbors are doubly upset because Stern also pointlessly shot and killed a young man in 2012, leading them to believe, entirely understandably, that police " are going to do what they want to do."
