Democracy Now! will be livestreaming coverage from the “Freedom to Connect Conference” Mon-Tues, March 4-5. The conference will include speeches from Aaron Swartz’s partner, Taren Stinebrickner-Kauffman on Monday and Guardian blogger Glenn Greenwald on Tuesday, who will give the keynote address.

This year, the conference will focus on three main topics: open infrastructure, a publicly specified set of internet protocols, and the use of the internet to promote government of, by and for the people, and to counteract autocratic government power.
