Remove the feeling of guilt. One's job is not the most important expenditure of energy. We need healing ceremonies such as sharing a single cup of tea for an hour and a half, breathing together, smiling together, enjoying each other's presence. Thich Nhat Hanh is one authority I'd willingly submit to.
Many thanks to CD and Hoggan & Assoc for bringing us another resource toward collective resiliency for the times we find ourselves living:)
I'm impressed by the power of calm acceptance/acknowledgement of a situation just as it is, without despair. From that point of stillness, healing can arise, perhaps in surprising form. But an attitude of despair - and anger - locks us in to a very limited set of solutions, centered around the expectation that someone will lose.
I'm all for win-win solutions that meet everyone's needs.
Blessings to all.
