Human Rights Groups Denounce Israeli Destruction of Bedouin Villages
Human rights groups have denounced an Israeli government plan to destroy 35 Bedouin villages that it has declared illegal in the Negev desert.
The move - reportedly planned to enable the building of homes for 10,000 people - threatens the livelihoods of Bedouins who have been living in the area for 60 years.
Although compensation will be on offer, the government's decision has for the most part angered villagers, who are Israeli citizens.
Al Jazeera's Andrew Simmons reports from the Negev desert.

Show AllI think we should give the Israelis a 5 mile wide strip of land across our southern border. It looks like the same kind of terrain. We should airlift them all out of the Mideast and let them guard that border. No one would cross our southern border and there would more peace in the Mideast. How's that for a simple thought?

"The calculated use of violence or the threat of violence to attain goals which are political, religious or ideological in nature, through intimidation, coercion or instilling fear"

No, the real problem is that Zionists never met a human atrocity they didn't like, and that a powerful ethnic group supports them through these horrific atrocities.
Dissolving Israel is the only way the world will rid itself of this barbaric cancer, along with reparations to all those harmed by Zionism.
Is there ANY non-Jewish/Israel life that Israel will respect??? The persecuted turning into the persecuters...and obviously quite proud of it, too.
