Justice Denied: Voices from Guantanamo
They were held in Guantanamo for years without charge. The American principle that is supposed to prove the guilty and protect the innocent didn't exist for these men who now live free after being tortured and abused. This is their story -- before, during and after Guantanamo.

Show AllWhat an utterly evil thing the US did to these people. And now the darling of the world, the charismatic Barack Obama, refuses to hold anyone accountable for the heinous crimes these people were the victims of.
What could we have done? What can we do now to end the brutality against the people of Afghanistan, Pakistan, Palestine? There are still prisoners in secret prisons, suffering untold abuses.
When we go to the ballot box, why do we continue to vote for more war, more cruelty? You can't say you thought Obama would end the wars. He said in his campaign speeches he would escalate.
Something is very wrong with people who refuse to stand up for basic human rights because they fear the other party. The two parties collude to stay in power. We the People are scammed every time and every time we fall for it. We should be ashamed.
Well-said....
it is very sad that those who have great dignity are abused by those who lack any feeling for their common man.
These evil actions against thousands should not go unpunished.

How can we just look and listen to these people and not feel a deep shame? All the pain, humiliation and suffering happened to them in our name. Why are the perpetrators getting away scot-free? Why is nobody bothered?
Is it possible that the majority of people just don't care? Or are they just so well conditioned by the official media to hate any "Muslims"?
STONE THE TERRORIST
No one knows my real name
No one cared to ask
An alien entity… with lost identity
To some I’m the manifestation
Of the horror of the newspapers
The wicked one
Plotting with the axis of evil
To others I’m the one
Who ascended from the past’s graveyard
To drag humanity to the age
Of ignorance and darkness
In the eighties I was Khomeini
Then I became Qaddafi
In the nineties I was Saddam Hussein
Then I became Ben laden
Today I am Nasrullah… tomorrow who knows
But no one knows my real name
No one cared to ask
I am the suspect… the accused
The criminal… the illegal
The immoral… the uncivilised
The brainless…. the terrorist
The peace hater… the freedom loather
The democracy rejecter
To eliminate me is an honourable deed
For I am the human withOno humanity
My crime is…
Being
My sin is…
Believing
Do you know who I am?
I am a Palestinian Muslim
With a hijab on
.
